DIN 125 Flat Washers：They are circular, thin metal discs with a central hole. Made of materials like carbon steel (often zinc - plated for rust resistance), stainless steel (304/316 for strong corrosion resistance), or brass (for excellent electrical/thermal conductivity), they are low - cost and reliable. Their main roles are to disperse pressure (reduce stress between nuts and fastened parts), prevent loosening (increase friction to stop bolts from slipping), and minimize friction during installation. Widely used in machinery, automotive, and industrial setups, they work with bolts/nuts (e.g., M4, M12) to boost fastening stability.
Instructions for Use：
DIN 125 flat washers are installed between a bolt/nut and the fastened component:
- Align the hole: Match the washer’s central hole with the bolt.
- Clean & place: Ensure the surface is clean (no debris), then put the washer in position.
- Tighten: Secure the bolt/nut; the washer will spread pressure evenly.
Note: Avoid over - tightening (to prevent deformation) and replace worn washers. For high - vibration loads, use them with elastic washers.
