How to Use a Drywall Anchor Place the fixture in position and drill a hole with the correct diameter matching the required depth. Clean the hole with a brush and a blower to remove all dust and debris from drilling. Insert the assembled anchor bolt through the fixture into the concrete. Tighten it to the recommended torque.
