At present, in the face of the complex and volatile international situation, the external demand in the field of foreign trade is weakening, orders are falling, and the downward pressure is obviously increasing. In order to stabilize the basic market of foreign trade, develop new markets and new orders, Jiashan County helps enterprises to “go out” to expand the market, organize enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions, and seize the opportunity with a more active attitude.
As the largest economy in ASEAN, Indonesia has a per capita GDP of over 4,000 US dollars. With the signing of the RCEP agreement, Indonesia has granted zero tariff treatment to more than 700 new products with tax codes based on the China-Asean Free Trade Area. Indonesia is one of the emerging markets with great potential. In 2022, a total of 153 enterprises in Jiashan County engaged in trade with Indonesia, achieving 480 million yuan of imports and exports, including 370 million yuan of exports, a year-on-year increase of 28.82 percent.
At present, the action of “a thousand enterprises and a hundred groups” to expand the market and grab orders has been started. At present, Jiashan County has taken the lead in releasing 25 overseas key exhibitions, and will release 50 key exhibitions in the future. At the same time, it gives policy support to exhibitors. “For key exhibitions, we can subsidize up to two booths, with a maximum of 40,000 yuan for a single booth and a maximum of 80,000 yuan.” County Bureau of Commerce relevant person in charge of introduction, at the same time, Jiashan County further strengthen facilitation services, improve entry-exit facilitation work class, for enterprises to “go out” to provide a series of services such as risk research and judgment, certification and green channel.
From “government charter” to “thousands of enterprises and hundreds of groups”, Jiashan has been on the way to embrace openness. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 112 enterprises have been organized to compete for overseas customers and orders, with a total of US $110 million in new orders.
